In 2008 I (and along with 100 other people from all over the US)  went to Zambia to be part of Northrise University's first ever, Impact Ndola trip. We worked at various places to minister to the people of Ndola, hoping to make a positive impact. 

I had the privilege of ministering to the children at the Mapalo orphanage and school.  I went  to bless these  sweet children  but God turned it around and they blessed me. In  the mist of  their improvised HIV/AIDS  environment they still had warm loving hearts.  I was living a dream since childhood and it was unraveling better than the dream itself. The children touch your heart like no others. I was also blessed to be able to capture this incredible experience on film and  I have been trying to convey the beauty of their hearts and their land on to my canvas's.

The paintings are from the children of Mapalo orphange and school, Northrise University/farm, MacKenzie Center and Lion's Camp. I will continue to post more paintings  as I finish them. The profits from these paintings sold will go to benefit the students of Northrise Univeristy and the children of Mapalo.
